About the role

Explore Property Mackay is seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of approximately 120-150 residential rental properties, ensuring timely rent collection and lease renewals.Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance and repairs to keep properties in excellent condition.Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and property owners, addressing enquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.Advertise and market vacant properties to secure high quality tenants.Oversee the end to end tenant management process, including application assessments, lease agreements and bond management.Maintain accurate records and provide regular reporting to property owners.Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants and suppliers.Participate in a rotating after hours on call roster with other Property Managers, handling emergency phone calls only.Work collaboratively with the wider Property Management team to achieve great outcomes.

Requirements & Skills

A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Property Manager, preferably in the residential sector.Current Certificate of Registration (QLD).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.Proven experience in property marketing and tenant acquisition.Proficiency with property management software, including PropertyMe, Inspection Express and Reapit.Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing property management.A positive, professional attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.A genuine pride in their work and a commitment to providing an outstanding level of service.

The ideal candidate

An experienced Property Manager with at least 2 years in residential property management, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service to owners and tenants. They'll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team, with solid knowledge of relevant legislation and confidence using property management software.
